Eliza Poe Returns to Masons' Hall

Debbie Phillips, local guide, historian, and Retail Coordinator at Richmond’s Poe Museum, will portray Eliza Poe, mother of Edgar Allan Poe, in a concert to be held at Masons’ Hall for the benefit of paying for restorations to the 1787 building. Money goes to help pay for repairs of historic Masons Hall (a 501(c)3 Non- Profit.

In 1811, Eliza Poe gave one of her last public performances at Masons Hall. Today, we are proud to offer a performance of similar music in the very same room.  Come and experience what the audience of 1811 experienced in 18th century surroundings as well as contribute to the relief of an endangered historic building!

Masons Hall will be open for tours to ticket holders. Space is limited, reserve your spots today for $25 here (http://masonshall1785.org/poe/), or $30 at the door

One performance only will be held on September 28, 2019 at 4pm.  Refreshments will be served.
