Free to the public, but donations help pay for repairs of historic Masons’ Hall (through Masons’ Hall 1785, a 501(c)3 Non- Profit Organization).
While not required, reservations are recommended.
Debbie Phillips, local guide, historian, and Retail Coordinator at Richmond’s Poe Museum, will portray Eliza Poe, mother of Edgar Allan Poe, in a concert to be held at Masons’ Hall for the benefit of paying for restorations to the 1787 building. Money goes to help pay for repairs of historic Masons Hall (a 501(c)3 Non- Profit.
In 1811, Eliza Poe gave one of her last public performances at Masons Hall. Today, we are proud to offer a performance of similar music in the very same room. Come and experience what the audience of 1811 experienced in 18th century surroundings as well as contribute to the relief of an endangered historic building!
